⭐ HOW BIDDING WORKS
Bidding at BidTheLot is designed to be simple, transparent, and category-based. Instead of bidding on individual items, you place a bid on the entire category. If you place the winning bid, you take ALL items in that category!
🗂️ 1. Browse the Categories
Explore the categories to see what’s included. Each category contains a curated group of items, and your bid applies to the entire category, not individual pieces. Each category page includes photos, descriptions, and—when applicable—short proof‑of‑function videos for selected items. This gives you a clear sense of the overall value of the category.
📝 2. Submitting Your Bid
At the bottom of each category page, you’ll find a simple bid form. Enter your contact information and your bid amount, then submit. PLEASE NOTE: You may bid on as many categories as you like; Each form submission is a bid on the
entire category, not individual items.
If you make an error or want to update your bid, simply submit a new form.
We will always use your highest valid bid.
🔒 3. Silent Auction Format
This is a silent, no‑reserve auction.
Bids are private — you will not see other bidders’ amounts.
